The Jackpine Snag was started in 2010 by Joe Hart (ex Chairmen), Todd Karinen (ex Gaytar, Mk Ultra Culkin) and Nick Merz (ex Mk Ultra Culkin). in late 2011, Nick moved to Boise, and Joe and Todd brought Greg Lamb on board. they recorded an ep in the fall of 2012. They recorded The Fire Tower ep in fall of 2013. Greg left in early 2014, replaced by Jason Roedel later that year.
